Ya_All aims to empower the LGBTQ community in the northern region of India through advocacy and capacity building.
The seven North East Indian states lack a network and support system for the LGBTI community. This implies that issues faced by queer people in these regions are currently not addressed.
Our funding enables Ya_All to mobilize LGBTI individuals and help them to create a network of community members by bringing LGBTI individuals from these states together. A total of four workshops in four different cities will train community members on a broad range of topics, such as sexuality and gender, resource mobilization, LGBTI support system case studies and training in creating support systems.
