MANODIVERSA is an independent civil association focusing on empowerment and participation of bisexual and LGBT elderly people living in rural and suburb areas in Bolivia.
MANODIVERSA works with LGBT elderly people for several years now. They established a dedicated community center for them in 2016, and wish to continue and expand the services the center offers.
With our funding, MANODIVERSA will set up short stay facilities, in order to help LGBT elderly people who suffer from loneliness or depression. These are serious issues in this segment of the community. They will organize various activities in the center, such as film screenings, trainings, and social and psychological support services.
