So far, FemSlam from Serbia organized three soccer weekends out of a total of six.
The soccer matches and other side activities aim to bring together LGBTIQ sports activists/football players from the region in order to meet, create a safe space for playing football, and thus offer alternative possibilities for building communities around LGBTIQ sports.
They also share and exchange experiences, come up with ideas and possibilities for future cooperation, define political goals and strategies for building a regional LGBTIQ sports network. Activities over the course of the project are: 6 weekend-long meet ups comprising of football, workshop/discussion and get-together events.
